Terms and Conditions for Donations to

For Earth Foundation:

Welcome to For Earth Foundation! By making a donation, you agree to the following terms and conditions. We value your contribution and are committed to transparency and compliance with Indian laws regarding charitable donations. These terms ensure that donations are handled properly in line with applicable laws, including the Income Tax Act, 1961.

1. General Terms

By donating to For Earth Foundation, you agree that:

• Your donation will be used exclusively for charitable purposes aligned with the objectives of For Earth Foundation.

• For Earth Foundation reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you via email or through the website.

2. Donation Method

Donations to For Earth Foundation can be made via the following methods:

• Online payment gateways (credit/debit card, net banking, UPI)

• Bank transfers

• Cash donations (in specific cases)

Donors will receive an official receipt for every donation made, including transaction details.

3. Tax Exemption (Section 12A and 80G)

For Earth Foundation is registered under Section 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Donations made to Earth Foundation are eligible for tax exemptions as outlined below:

• Section 12A: Donations made to Earth Foundation are exempt from income tax, as For Earth Foundation is a registered charitable organization.

• Section 80G: Donors who contribute to For Earth Foundation are eligible to claim deductions under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

• Contributions above ₹500 are eligible for tax deductions.

• The deduction is available to individuals, companies, and other entities, subject to the conditions specified by the Income Tax Department.

• Donations made to Earth Foundation are eligible for 100% tax exemption under Section 80G, subject to any specific restrictions.

Please note: The tax exemption applies only for donations made via approved payment channels, and receipts for tax exemption will be provided.

4. Usage of Donations

All funds donated to For Earth Foundation are dedicated to supporting our mission to conserve the environment, promote sustainability, and further other charitable initiatives in line with our goals. Donations will be used for:

• Environmental conservation projects

• Educational programs and initiatives

• Public awareness campaigns

• Administrative costs related to the charity’s objectives

We adhere strictly to the guidelines laid down by the Income Tax Department and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for the use of charitable funds.

5. Receipt and Acknowledgement

• Upon successful processing of your donation, you will receive an official receipt. The receipt will include details of your donation, such as the amount, the mode of payment, and a unique reference number.

• For tax exemption purposes, For Earth Foundation will issue a donation receipt containing all necessary details required for the donor to claim tax deductions under Section 80G. Ensure that you retain this receipt for your tax filing.

6. Refund Policy

Once a donation is made, it is non-refundable, except in cases where an error is made in the donation process (such as incorrect charges, double payments, or fraudulent activities). Requests for refunds should be made in writing to [insert email/contact details] within 7 days of the transaction.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

• The information you provide during the donation process, such as your name, address, contact number, and financial details, will be used only for processing your donation and for sending receipts.

8. Compliance with Laws

• All donations will be processed in compliance with the Income Tax Act, 1961, and other applicable Indian laws. For Earth Foundation operates in accordance with the regulations governing charitable organizations in India.

• Earth Foundation reserves the right to reject any donation if it is deemed to violate any law or ethical standards.

10. Limitation of Liability

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with donations to For Earth Foundation shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Coimbatore, India.

12. Changes to Terms and Conditions

For Earth Foundation may amend or update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to comply with legal requirements or reflect changes in our operations. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or via email.
